To support fire preparation activities and to coincide with November’s long weekend, Loddon Shire Council is continuing its initiative, offering residents free waste disposal at each of its Landfill and Transfer Station locations on the following 2018 dates:
Residents presenting to dispose of waste will be required to provide proof of address showing Loddon Shire residency (eg. Rates Notice, Licence). This will be an ongoing quarterly service and future dates and times will be advertised leading up to each event.
Residents can dispose of up to 4 cubic metres of general domestic waste free of charge. This includes the following items: • green waste • mixed recyclables • general household waste • E-waste -All TVs and computer screens -Refrigerators, freezers and air conditioners
The following items are not included, as these items have additional third party costs associated with their disposal and therefore will be charged as per normal disposal charges: • tyres • bricks and concrete • mattresses
