Free waste disposal

The Victorian Government state-wide kerbside reforms and the 'Recycling Victoria: A new economy' policy mandates that in the future glass will no longer be able to go into kerbside recycling bins. This is because glass breakages contaminate other recyclable material.

Container Deposit Scheme

The Victorian Government launch of the Container Deposit Scheme starts 1st November 2023.

It will be a new and easy way for Victorians to recycle drink containers, earn money and keep Victoria clean from litter.

Provided by Agsafe in partnership with CropLife Australia and the Australian Seed Federation, this not-for-profit, industry-led initiative provides farmers and growers with a simple and sustainable way to recycle single-use woven polypropylene (PP) plastic bags, such as those used for fertilisers, seeds, grain, stock feed and pet food.
