Major Recreation Reserves

The majority of recreation reserves are managed and maintained by committees of management comprising representatives of the user groups and local community. These volunteer committees are either appointed by the Department of Energy, Environment and Climate Action (DEECA) or Loddon Shire Council, depending on ownership of the land.

Council supports reserve committees of management by providing an annual maintenance allocation in accordance with the Community Support Policy(PDF, 59KB).
