Newbridge Recreation Reserve
A picturesque reserve that not only caters for the sporting groups who use it, a lovely spot for camping and leisure activities on the banks of the Loddon River. There is an undercover children's playground, a free electric BBQ and public toilets and showers and rubbish bins.
The Newbridge Recreation Reserve is Crown Land managed by a voluntary committee under the auspices of DEECA. This reserve is home to the local football and netball teams in the winter, cricket and tennis teams, in the summer.
Camping is available all year round for a fee of $25 per night, 21 consecutive days is the maximum time, fees can be paid to the volunteer who will visit your campsite, or the General Store and Hotel, which are a short walk over the bridge. Receipts must be displayed in the dash of your vehicle.
Fires are allowable in the designated fire pits, or bring your own fire drum, no wood supplied.
Dogs must be kept on a leash.
