International Women's Day Dinner

The Kooyoora Women's Network presents this International Women's Day Dinner.

Guest speaker Lucy Mayes will share women's stories of flood, resilience and community. Hear about their lived experiences to inspire hope, courage, and change.

Lucy Mayes is editor and story catcher of the book A Different Flood: Stories of Strength and Recovery. This book is being launched on the same night, prior to the dinner.

This book captures the voices, stories, and reflections of Loddon residents affected by the region’s 2022 floods. The project offers a lasting record of the community’s flood journey, sharing personal accounts that illuminate the ingenuity, resourcefulness, heart, and humour found in challenging times.

Each story contributes to a shared portrait of resilience, connection, and hope across the Loddon region.
