AUDIT COMMITTEE COMMUNITY MEMBER – TWO VACANCIES

Council is seeking the appointment of two community members to its Audit Committee.
The first position has become vacant due to normal rotation of membership, and is for the four year period of 1 May 2015 to 30 April 2019. The second position has become vacant due to the resignation of a community member. In order to maintain the current rotation of one community member annually, the term of this position is for the three year period of 1 May 2015 to 30 April 2018.
The Audit Committee, which consists of four community members and one Councillor, meets on a quarterly basis. An allowance is payable to community members of the committee.
Ideally, the successful candidate will have experience in a business related discipline or local government operations, and have a strong community minded focus.
