Local law requirements
Loddon Shire Council’s Local Law No. 4 - Environment Local Law - (Amendment No 3) 2008 requires that individuals wishing to construct a temporary dwelling obtain a permit to do so prior to undertaking any works.
Prior to the application being made, a building permit for the construction of a dwelling on the land must also be obtained and provision should also be made for suitable toilet, laundry and bathing facilities.
