Walking and cycling trails

Get out and explore the wonderful natural environment of the Loddon Shire through one of its tracks and trails.

Whether you enjoy cycling, horse-riding or walking, the Shire’s tracks and trails are a fantastic way to take in the beauty of the area’s surroundings while discovering its rich history.

Tracks and trails are located in Boort, Bridgewater, Inglewood, Laanecoorie, Pyramid Hill, Serpentine, Tarnagulla and Wedderburn.

All tracks and trails are graded to national standards for walking access, as are relevant trails for cycling and horse riding. Icons along the tracks and trails show you areas of interest as well as rest areas.

Lengths of the track or trail are provided, as are QR codes so you can download information about the track or trail, including a map, directly to your smartphone or computer.

The all-terrain TrailRider wheelchair is also available for hire free of charge from the Loddon Visitor Information Centre from Monday to Saturday (or by prior arrangement) for up to three days. Find out more about the TrailRider here.
