Serpentine Creek Canoe Trail

The waters of Serpentine Creek are the lifeblood of the surrounding environment that has allowed generations of people, plants and animals to survive, thrive and enjoy the lands you are about to discover.

As you gently float down the creek, numbered points on the trail match up with numbered sections of the printed map brochure.

You will journey into forgotten eras to learn about a fascinating living culture that has relied upon the natural features and resources of this unique place.

The Serpentine Creek Canoe Trail is haven for birdlife and follows a very slow flowing and often still section of the creek for 5 kilometres and is designed as a self-guided experience suitable for most ages and abilities.

Access to the canoe ramp is in Whytecross Road Durham Ox.
