STAGE 3 RESTRICTIONS REMAIN IN FORCE

Water restriction levels for GWMWater rural and urban customers supplied
from the Murray via the Northern Mallee and Cannie Ridge pipelines and
Supply System 5 of the Wimmera Mallee Pipeline have been reviewed by
the GWMWater Board. As GWMWater’s Murray allocation is about the same as the highest allocation attained last year, the Board has determined that Stage 3 water restrictions levels will remain in place at this stage.

GWMWater Managing Director Jeff Rigby said that this position would ensure that we are able to continue to meet the Stage 3 restriction level demands if our Murray allocation does not increase as the year progresses.
“Restriction levels for our Mallee customers will be regularly reviewed and any changes will be communicated to our customers through newsletters and the local media” Mr Rigby said.

Further information on Stage 3 water restrictions is available through the GWM Water website or by calling 1300 659 961.
