| Bus Shelter & DDA Upgrades
As part of the State Governments commitment to improving public transport infrastructure and services throughout regional Victoria, Loddon Shire has been awarded grants totaling $205,000 towards various infrastructure improvements at twenty three bus stops.
This program is being administered by the Department of Transport in partnership with Loddon Shire and will result in improved accessibility to V-line transport services for all residents.
In addition to various site upgrades, bus shelter installations are also proposed for stops within the townships of Bridgewater, Boort, Inglewood, Wedderburn, Newbridge and Pyramid Hill.
Works are expected to be complete by June 2010 however residents wishing to obtain more information may contact Councils Infrastructure department on 5494 1200.
