All Caravan Parks must be registered with Loddon Shire Council. Councils Environmental Health Officer investigate any complaints made in relation to these types of businesses and conduct annual inspections.
Structures installed at a caravan park must be designed and constructed to appropriate standards. This is enforced to ensure the health and safety of the residents. Annexes and other structures must be able to withstand strong wind speeds, have minimum ceiling heights, appropriate ventilation, insulation and other features.
Before installing any structures the Council must be notified of the intentions and show evidence that the structure is an approved design.
If a caravan park has a food business this also is required to be registered as a food business. |
