Council seeking customer service feedback
Released on 13 October 2017
Loddon Shire Council is asking the community to provide feedback regarding its customer service and areas for improvement, via a short survey which is open now.
Loddon Shire Chief Executive Officer Phil Pinyon said feedback from the survey, which is open until 13 November 2017, will help Council to develop its Customer Service Strategy and Customer Service Charter.
“We’re asking our community members and visitors to fill in a short, five-minute survey and provide their thoughts on our current levels of customer service, and how it may be improved,” Mr Pinyon said.
“All responses are confidential and I ask people to please take the time to fill out the survey. We would like to receive feedback from as many community members as possible, from right across the Shire.
“The feedback received will guide Council in developing its Customer Service Strategy and therefore ensure as a Council we are delivering what the community expects in terms of good customer service.”
Mr Pinyon added that community workshops focusing on Council’s customer service will be held in the coming months.
“When filling out the survey, people can choose to register their interest to attend a community workshop, which will be held in each ward of the Shire. These workshops will provide the opportunity for residents and visitors to further provide their ideas on customer service delivery.”
Details regarding the dates and locations of the community workshops will be advertised in the coming weeks.
A Loddon Shire staff member will also be attending local events to survey community members and their experiences of Council’s customer service.
In addition to the recent Tarnagulla Strictly Vintage Fair, surveys will be undertaken at the Boort Agricultural and Pastoral Society Show, Wedderburn Open Gardens, Pyramid Hill Fiesta and Inglewood Alive Festival.
“I encourage community members who are approached at these events by a Loddon Shire Council staff member to please fill out the survey and provide their feedback,” Mr Pinyon said.
The survey is available online from www.research.net/r/LoddonCustSvc2017_WebLink. Community members can also complete the survey online at Council’s Wedderburn office during business hours.
Hard copies of the survey are available from Loddon Shire Council offices, community centres and post offices throughout the Shire. Hard copies can also be mailed to residents.
Community members who fill out the survey have the chance to enter the draw to win a hamper of local produce valued at $100.
